Some people
are circles – you get trapped in them. Some are diversions – and you move on.
You need another circle or a diversion, to break the circle. You don’t mean for
them to happen; circle or diversion. It’s not conscious. It just is.
You most
likely enjoy the circle more. Until you don’t. ‘Cause you don’t just go on. But
you’ve enjoyed the circle more, in retrospect. Not always while you’re caught
in it. Maybe not even in retrospect, it’s just, the diversions are inconsequential,
after all. The circles change you a bit. Add a bit, remove a bit, shape you a
bit. Take you a bit forward, a bit backward, they move you, change your
equilibrium. You find a new balance after a circle. If you find the right balance,
it will quite likely be in a circle. In the circle.
Circles. And
diversions. And your way
